What is the liability exposure to the cosigner?
The cosigner is responsible to make sure the defendant appears for all of their court appearances. Should the defendant not appear in court as scheduled, the cosigner could be held responsible and liable for the full bond amount if the defendant is not apprehended and produced before the court.
How much does a bail bond cost?
A premium is required and our fee is ten per cent of the bail bond. For example, the cost of a $1,000.00 bail bond would be $100.00.
Is the premium refundable?
No. The premium is the fee for our service.
I would like to get my friend out of jail but do not have the required premium. Can you help?
Yes, frequently credit is offered if a person does not have the full premium. Our staff would be happy to talk to you about extending credit.
